Meet the characters

Farmer Mac
Farmer Mac is a modern day young farmer. Farmer Mac loves being on his farm and working on his machinery. He loves his partner Mrs Mac, and they live happily and harmoniously on their farm in Harkaway Hollow. Farmer Mac’s personality is that of hard working in his happy place, but he is also sensitive to the needs of his partner. He will try and do anything to ensure that Mrs Mac is happy on their farm and he is considerate of her wishes. The depiction of Farmer Mac and his clothes is representative of what a modern farmer would wear – authentic durable Australian brands.
Mrs Mac
Mrs Mac is young and has a positive look on life in general. She loves to work as a team with her partner Farmer Mac to enjoy their life on the farm. Mrs Mac wants to be an active participant in the running of the farm, but she craves for more company in the form of animals. She desires to have animals to care for and to make productive contributions to farm life with their help. Farmer Mac is supportive of these wishes and problem solves with action to satisfy Mrs Mac’s plans.
Daisy
Daisy is a dairy cow with the soft, patterned colouring of a Jersey, marked by distinctive circles across her hide. She wears a collar with a bell, her signature adornment on the farm. Gentle and thoughtful, she cares for the other animals and often brings calm solutions when challenges arise. She also uses her tail to help with farm tasks, showing her practical side. Daisy’s steady presence makes her a trusted friend to everyone in the yard, and her quiet strength helps keep the farm running smoothly.
Shirl
Shirl the Sheep has a white fleece coat and contrasting black face and feet. Shirl wears a distinctive wool beret on her head adorned with wooden knitting needles. She is very proud of contribution of wool to the farm and its many uses. She is also the subliminal income producer of the farm like Charlotte is with her eggs.
Charlotte
Charlotte is egg laying chook, she has white feathers with a red plume. Her adornment is that of choker of white pearls of which she is very proud. Charlotte is also caring in nature and her distinctive skills relate loosely to numbers and further awareness of the goings on around the farm, as she likes to often use her elevated vantage point to assess activity. Further, her beak is her distinctive feature to assist in farm activities.
Doris
Doris the duck, is the self proclaimed manager of the the pond. Doris is cream in colour with her distinctive orange web feet. Doris parades around the farm ready for a swim in the pond at any time or to assist if there are any water issues. Her rainbow beach towel and harness display her inclusion of all and adds colour to her image.
Penny
Penny the pig, is pink and black in colour, with distinctive cross patterns upper hide. Penny also wears pink gumboots which are fun and stylish and relevant to her love of mud. Penny is the entertainer of the group and loves to dance, and has penchant for the display of gross motor skill activities. Her snout is also an effective asset for work around the farm.
Harriet
Harriet the Horse is a retired eventing horse. She has a distinctive dappled coat and striking contrasting mane and tail. Harriet still proudly wears her distinctive ribbon which she won in her past life. Harriet is proud of her past and also likes to show her strength and skill around the farm, and also helps the other farm animals with resilience. She also uses her tail and hooves to assist around the farm.
