A city girl born and bred, Kathryn lived in the country on a farm at Harkaway Hollow where she raised her children Lachlan and Annabel. This series of four books is the result of her life experiences which have been both rewarding and challenging. She hopes Farmer Mac’s Tales will entertain your special little one and that you both enjoy these early educational experiences.

“I started out in the world of business — marketing, accounting, and strategy — but when life took me on a “farm change,” I found myself drawn to creative projects. First came ideas for preschool TV, and then a bigger dream: sharing the special character of Australia with families everywhere.

My vision has always been simple: to make a difference. I believe creativity shines brightest when it’s backed by solid planning, so I bring my business know how into every project. That way, the fun ideas have the best chance to grow and succeed.

I love gathering talented people, doing the research, and shaping concepts until they’re ready to share. Only then do I take them to industry leaders and partners.

One of my proudest achievements was helping bring New MacDonald’s Farm to life with the Nine Network and Beyond International. It ran for three series and even reached Disney Kids audiences in 22 countries — proof that Australian stories can travel far and wide. ”
